Yes, you can recieve a rash from kissing a cannibal. Three girls from my hometown went on a cruise in florida during this past spring break. One of the girls hooked up with a random guy, and he wanted them all to go to his place & spend the night. The refused to go, and went on their way. the next morning the girl woke up, with a horriable rash all around her mouth. Her friends took her to the doctor, and the rash came from a disease of the mouth that one gets by eating other humans. He was found & his house was searched, only to find 3 dead bodies, that had been eaten on. I KID YOU NOT! THIS IS A TRUE STORY!

This is true. I heard the same exact story as Amber. A girl from my hometown is roomates with the girls best friend in that story.

Amazing how many people seem to know the victim from this story. It’s an urban legend. I was told the same thing and the person who told me knew the victim as well. I beg you to point me to one documented article about this case, because i sure as hell couldn’t find one.

It is very true… notice how quick doctors are able to dismiss something that they don’t know too much about. It is not like this happens everyday…why do you think that there are so many malpractice suits…because doctors don’t know everything. It is very true that you can get a mouth or another form of derma- rash. A friend of the family went on Spring Break in South Florida this year and a dermatologist looked at her mouth and face after she awoke the next morning from the same scenario listed above. After they linked it to a form of disease spread by another human feeding off of another human, they called her back down to Florida to discuss the man who passed it along. They did find the guy who transmitted it…and he did preform acts of cannibalism…in fact he is the 2nd or 3rd in Florida. The first I heard and read records about was a man who went nuts over his ex-lover and killed him and ate parts of his organs back in 2007. He is “hannibal Lazaro of Miami…or some name close to that. He was on trial. Body parts were found in a nearby children’s park. So yes, it is very true this rash being transmitted.

MIAMI — Lazaro Galindo, who is accused of killing a romantic rival and eating his organs, acted as his own attorney during jury selection in his trial Monday.

Galindo criticized the media and asked potential jurors to keep their minds open to unfamiliar religions.

“Let’s say the Church of Satan, some people don’t think it exists, it actually exists, it actually has members,” Galindo told potential jurors. “But we don’t worship Satan, pray to Satan, sacrifice kids to Satan,” he said.

Galindo, whom prosecutors have referred to as “Hannibal,” will be representing himself against charges that he killed 44-year old Argelio Gonzalez — reportedly a rival for his girlfriend’s affections — then dismembered the body and ate some of the organs in July 2000, according to Local 10’s Glenna Milberg.

The crime was uncovered when children playing in a Miami park discovered body parts in a garbage can.

Before the proceedings Monday, Galindo told the judge he is no longer a member of the Church of Satan, and that he “found God” while in jail.

“I’ve converted to God, I found God,” he said.

Assistant state attorney Herb Walker said Galindo had told investigators he had an insatiable desire to eat human flesh. Walker said he prepared for the trial by researching the history and culture of the Church of Satan.

Walker asked potential jurors if they would be able to consider witness testimony as evidence in the potential absence of physical evidence. When some of the jurors said they might have a difficult time doing so, Walker instructed them on Florida law.

During Galindo’s turn with the jury pool, he hinted at his defense: “How many of you have ever been forced to do something, or manipulated by a higher authority than you?” he asked them, Milberg reported.

Galindo’s long, rambling turn at the podium prompted Judge Peter Adrien to interrupt him several times to clarify for the jury pool what information Galindo was trying to elicit from them.

I don’t think this story is true because there are no news reports about this.. I have looked..And if this happen a few months ago It would be all over the news. Show me proof of this story,then i will believe it.

I heard that this story took place in Austin, TX. A girl from Oklahoma (a friend of a friend of a friend)was visiting a friend for a couple of weeks. She met a guy at a bar and they talked for a few hours and started making out. She was asked to go back to his place, but she declined the offer because she was spending time with her friend. He gave her his address and number and told her to call him. She never did, but when she got back home, she had this rash inside her mouth and on her cheek. She went to her doctor and the police got involved. The Austin police went to the guys house and found severed heads and bodies lying around his apartment. I tried to find news on this matter and came across this site. It’s a total hoax! I can’t find any news on this occurrence in Texas!

Last weekend I heard a very similar story to the ones above, and like many of you, I thought I’d do a little research to see if this was an urban legend. All that came up were these stories told by people like you and me, claiming they knew someone who knew someone who this happened to. Also, I realized that each story was pretty much the same, aside from a couple minor details. They all go like this, including the one I was told: A girl went to FL on vacation, made out with a guy at the bar, and he invited her back to his apartment. The girl ALWAYS declines the invitation. Soon after, she goes to the doc thinking she caught some nasty STD, but is informed that it is actually a flesh-eating disease caused by eating human remains. After explaining the situation to the doc, the police or in some stories, the FBI get involved. Another strange part of these stories is that the girl always just happens to have all of his information- telephone number, address, whatever… If this is a true story, why would he give out his contact information? I guess there could be stupid cannibals out there (eating humans sounds pretty stupid to me, so it makes sense), but sorry, I have digressed. So then they locate this man, search his pad and find dead women in his apartment who have been victimized. Like I stated earlier, I haven’t been able to find any credible articles proving that this story is accurate. You would think that if this was fact, we could find something online. I did find that some cannibals have been caught and prosecuted, but the scenarios were completely different. Either way, fact or fiction, this story disgusted me. Who cares if it is real… Just take what you can from it, smarten up, and be careful who you talk to and hang around with. And for cryin’ out loud, stop making out with random men ladies! It’s like begging for an STD, or a stalker… I’d like to believe that everyone around is just as nice as can be, but news flash, there are CREEPS out there, and they don’t have signs on their foreheads, so use some common sense ppl!

This is a true story. It did not happen in any of the states mentioned above. You can’t find it int he news because it is still under investigation. A certain famous baseball players wife was best friends with the girl. The baseball player convinced the girl to stay with them and get the guys number because they were going to be there for a couple more days. She wook up the next day and saw a rash. She put ointment on it and tried to see what that would do. The next day it was worse. They had to quarantine her at a hospital for a couple days and take tests. They told her they would send her the results. She went back to her state and the police showed up. She remembered she got the guys number gave it to the police. They raided his home and found 3 bodies. No body parts laying around and all that just he had been eating off them. Thank gos she did not go home with that man. She is now in therapy.

I think the story is true cause my girlfriend met some guy in a bar and he told her so sweetly “roses are red,violets are blue I’d truly love to eat you”.Well the guy got really upset cause she had a false leg and he chipped his two front teeth when he started to chow down on the lower portion of her leg.When she went to the Doctor sure enough their was a rash on the stump.You really gotta watch out for those cannaballs

This is not a true story. My roommate is in his third year of med school and looked into this. He found nothing because it is an urban legend. I’ve heard the same story a couple times from different people. The stories were EXACTLY the same down to every detail except one happened in Mexico and one happened in Florida.

So this is definitely an urban legend as I was told yesterday that a friend of a friend knew this girl and it happened at a club here in Sydney Australia 2 weeks ago. Come on guys…face up to it….this didn’t happen. If it did, it probably was long ago and not in your home town and not a dramatic as this.

This is partially where this story comes from because he is in Florida working as a Butcher, As far as the parasites in the mouth if anyone ate rotten meat of any type it would result in sever food poison to death. The smell of rotting flesh is unbearable and would bring definite attention by others. I also do know of a story that happened in Texas back in 1950 ish. There was a serial killer who would become friends with men or women at the bars. He would buy them drinks and get their trust. Once they passed out he would bring them to an empty house onside of Dallas. He would sever the victims spinal cord and perform sexual acts on the. He would feed them and play with them until he got sick of them. Then he would kill the victim and feed the body to the ranch help. He was found only because he died during the act leaving his victim still alive. he was named the Puppeteer.

This is what is called an urban legend. You can tell that from all of the different locations and similar characteristics of the story. Its always from a friend of a friend or second hand information with the same story details. While there is a real disease called kuru that is associated with cannabalism, it is rare. It is contracted from eating human flesh. Inside human tissue there is a protien that is not digestible by the human body. This protien accumulates in the body, usually in the brain, of cannibals. This protien makes it difficult for the brain to send proper signals to the motor control functions of the body causing the shakes and staggering and eventually death. There is also some truth and possibility of getting a rash on the mouth from kissing a cannibal due to oils that are secreted from a deceased human being, however the person would have had to recently eaten a person and not have bathed as to still have the oils on his face and mouth area.
